Yay!

Hi friends! I finally made this thing! Please feel free to write whatever you want, whenever you want. It doesn't have to just be about the book! But while I'm on that, Let's go ahead and try to read the first 3 chapters this week and write your thoughts. Maybe in addition to that you can tell us what's going on in your life this week.

Also, I am not going to do anything fancy to this, but if you want to add pics or other blog links or anything, sign in, go to the blog dashboard and do it!! Maybe a cool heading picture would be a good start?

So I started working full time at JBC this week...just for the summer. I miss Jude all the time but I'm enjoying it and actually feeling better, probably since I have lots of distractions. I'm 15 weeks along now!

Alice, we miss seeing you and I hope you'll post soon so we know what's going on with you.

Love you all!

Betsy

  1. Am I posting stuff the right way? I'm technologically challenged.

Anyway, Betsy it sounds like you're having a busy summer! Crazy that you're 15 weeks along. My summer is going pretty well so far. I'm working 20-25 hours at week at Rita's Ice, and I'm about to start volunteering a couple times a week at a local food bank. Other than that I've just been working out and catching up with old friends! I'm going to be REALLY tired of Johnson City by the end of the summer. I might take a few day trips to Knoxville here and there, and I'd love to meet up with you guys at some point. I'll let you know!

I'm about halfway done with Blue Like Jazz, and I'm really enjoying it. Rachel, I feel like I'm channeling our teacher Annette while reading this. . . where's the feminine perspective?! Haha.

Although I don't have more time right now, I'll share more of my thoughts on the book next time I post. Can't wait to hear from everyone. :)
